Did you know that God WANTS to save you?
No matter how selfish, greedy, lazy, lustful, cold-hearted, and angry you might be, the amazing thing is that God knows who you are already and WANTS to love you. He WANTS to rescue you from this life that is so crazy and full of lies, depression, hecticness, and just plain badness.
Out of his DESIRE to love and save you, God sent down his one and only beloved son Jesus Christ to be a sacrificial messenger for us to truly understand how God WANTS to know us. Jesus, part of the almighty God in his own right, squeezed himself into this puny human body so that he could save US, the dirty humans. His willingness to accept death on the cross for us was and is the only way that we can truly bask in the joy and the love of having a personal relationship with God.
Through Jesus’ sacrifice, not only do we get to enjoy an intimacy with an awesome God, we get ETERNAL LIFE after death up in heaven where we can spend eternity with God! Just as Jesus was resurrected and CONQUERED death, through him we don’t need to fear death. Death in this life only means that we can go and finally meet the One who created us, loved us, and watched over us. How amazing would it be to finally be united with the one who knows you inside and out? To be with someone who knows you better than your mother, your best friend, or even your significant other is going to be so AMAZING and AWESOME.
So for all of you guys who feel bitter, confused, angry, tired or even nothing at all, acknowledging and knowing God’s incredible and undying love is the only way to achieve true joy, relief, and peace. Let’s not leave God hanging, and come to love him just as He loved us!
